✧ Leen is a certified Edo Phoenix enjoyer by day, art student homework doer by night. Will be organizing the zine and terrorizing the Discord server.
✧ Has experience contributing to zines as both a page and cover artist, has created solo zines in the past, knows their way around the Adobe suite, and has taken uni-level courses in art and design.

✧ Duckle might run an Edo account. (It's an open secret.) Loves to send and receive mail. Will be organizing the zine and shipping any physical items.

✧ Mich, although a newcomer to Yu-Gi-Oh, has nonetheless volunteered to handle finances. That is to say, she makes spreadsheets. Enjoys singing and streaming in her free time, which is rapidly dwindling between the spreadsheets.
✧ Has experience in the treasury and public relations committees of her university student government as both a chairwoman and a grunt.

✧ Eu is very excited to be here. Very. Will be creating an army of graphics, both small and large, for the zine, as well as advising the artists. A frequent user of kaomojis.

✧ Schangia is a prolific writer for a wide array of fandoms, so if Edo caught her eye, you know it's true love. Will be advising the writers with great expertise and love. For Edo.
✧ Has extensive experience contributing to zines as a writer and as a zine mod: has served as a Head, General, Comms, and Writing Mod prior.

✧ Nia might run an Edo-adjacent account. Will be managing every single two of the zine's social media accounts and collecting your data through fun polls. Might infect you with their rival-loving disease.

✧ What's the theme of this zine?
Edo World Domination will be themed like a magazine doing a feature issue on Edo, based on Edo being a popular celebrity in canon.
Illustrations styled as press photos, advertisements, fashion campaigns, paparazzi snapshots, Instagram posts, etc. and writing styled as interviews, articles, analyses, anecdotes, etc.✧ Is this zine for-profit or non-profit?
Edo World Domination is non-profit! After the contributors receive their free copy of the zine, and all pre-orders are fulfilled, any leftover funds will be donated to real life heroes: the international medical humanitarian organization Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders (MSF), as voted on by our contributors.✧ Is this zine digital or physical?
This zine is available in both digital and physical forms, in multiple bundles! Some physical bundles will include physical merch as well. Check out the store here!✧ Will contributors get a copy?
Contributors will receive a physical zine if profit goals are met, and are guaranteed a digital copy and any digital merch.
If the project doesn't break even for physical contributor copies, contributors will be allowed to buy it at production price.✧ What dimensions will the zine be?
The zine will be a 5.5" x 8.5" saddle-stitched book (subject to change).✧ How many contributors are in this zine?

Yes! We've revealed the four of them on our social media already.

✧ Is this project affiliated with YGOU, YGOF, etc.?
Edo Zine is not affiliated with any other server or project, or with any other people, besides the Edo Zine server itself and those contributing.
The mod team has been made aware of tension between some groups, but to be honest, this zine is incredibly far removed from all of that. The actions of distant acquaintances or near strangers in a public server don't reflect on the mods personally.✧ How were contributors decided?
Guest contributors were invited based on the anonymous nominations from the interest check. Those who accepted the invitation joined the zine. (We have no control who accepts or declines :-P)
Regular contributors were selected based on the applications they submitted during our contributor application period. Everyone who applied was very talented, and we were so excited to see the unexpected interest in this zine! (Unfortunately, since we didn't foresee receiving so many applications, we were forced to make a lot of tough calls for the final roster despite maxing out our quota.)
The applications were first anonymized, then individually scored by each mod. When scoring, applicants were not vetted for anything besides what was included in their portfolio.
Afterwards, the mod team came back together to tally scores, review submitted pitches, and discuss the final cut-off. In the end, we welcomed 15 very talented artists and writers into the project!

Provided the mod in question meets the criteria, and the mod is interested in taking on the extra workload, yes. If the need arises down the line, mods may also be acting as pinch hitters.✧ Where did all your CuriousCat questions and answers go?
We'd like to know too! Our social media mod checked in one morning to find that everything had been wiped, and CuriousCat's support has not been able to help us recover the lost info. Fortunately, we have some records of our previously answered questions, which you can find by clicking here!
